Cornwall is hosting Armed Forces Day 2023 - and an action-packed line-up of events is planned in host city Truro.

A spectacular air display will be the highlight of the day, which will also feature live music and entertainment on two stages, stilt walkers, a carousel, readings and more.

Armed Forces Day is a chance to show our support for the men and women who make up our armed forces, past and present, and to thank them for their service and sacrifice.

The day is also an opportunity to raise awareness of the work of the armed forces and to show our appreciation for the role they play in keeping us safe.

This year's Armed Forces Day will be particularly special as it will also mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
